Job summary
Quickline Communications is seeking an Installation Engineer to connect rural communities to superfast broadband. You will perform on-site installation work, liaise with customers about routes and final appearances, and document all installed equipment for records and quality purposes.
The role requires safe work practices, comfort with heights, a clean driving license, and a customer-focused approach to exceed expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role, preferably with FTTP/FWA knowledge.
- Ability to work safely at height and maintain quality installations.
- Customer-first mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Installation work at customer premises to high quality standards.
- Liaise with customers about routes and final appearance of installations.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow Health & Safety practices.
- Conduct installation surveys and consider all delivery options.
- Document installed equipment details and capture installation images.
- Provide clear, proactive customer communications and support.
