Job summary
Quickline is seeking an Installation Engineer to connect rural communities to superfast broadband. You will work on FTTP/FWA installations, liaising with customers on routes and final appearances, while maintaining safety and recording installation details for our records.
We value customer-focused service and the ability to work on-site in various environments. A full clean driving licence and valid DBS check are required.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role - ideally with an understanding of FTTP and FWA connections.
- Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders is no problem for you.
- Customer care comes second nature to you.
- You have a full clean driving licence and can successfully pass a DBS check.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high quality standard of installation both internally and externally at our customers premises.
- Liaise with customers regarding the intended installation route and how the finished installation will look.
- Manage a safe working environment considering Health & Safety at all times.
- Carry out installation surveys competently and consider all options to deliver service.
- Document all installed equipment information and capture images of the installation for infrastructure records, support team use and our quality process.
- Provide excellent levels of customer communications and strive to exceed expectations.
