Job summary

Quickline is recruiting an Installation Engineer to connect rural communities to our superfast broadband. You’ll be out on the road, on-site with customers, and responsible for delivering high‑quality installs that look right and function reliably.

You will need experience in a similar role, knowledge of FTTP/FWA, a full UK driving licence and the ability to pass a DBS check. A customer‑oriented mindset and safe working practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, FTTP/FWA knowledge preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors when installing.
• Strong customer care and communication skills.
• Valid full UK driving licence and DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high quality standard of installation at customer premises.
• Liaise with customers on installation route and final appearance.
• Maintain safe working environment with strict Health & Safety practices.
• Carry out installation surveys and evaluate delivery options.
• Document installed equipment details and capture photos for records.
• Provide excellent customer communications and exceed expectations.

• You have experience in a similar role - Ideally with an understanding of FTTP and FWA connections.
• You are comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders is no problem for you.
• Customer care comes second nature to you.
• You have a full clean driving licence and can successfully pass a DBS check.
