Job summary

Targeted Provision in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged learners through Maths, English or Science tuition in person, online or hybrid formats.

Ideal candidates have QTS/QTLS, 2+ years of teaching with SEND/SEMH, DBS readiness and references. This self-employed role offers flexible opportunities and a mission to support vulnerable young people.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Subjects: Maths, English, and/or Science.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Location: Based in the UK with the right to work.
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online or hybrid tuition to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide feedback on student progress.
• Support a trauma-informed approach to raise standards for SEND learners.
