Job summary

Targeted Provision Ltd is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs across the UK. Roles are flexible, with in-person, hybrid, and remote options, and are often self-employed on an as-needed basis.

The role requires a passion for transforming disengaged learners, a minimum of 2 years teaching experience with SEND, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS or the ability to obtain one. UK work authorisation is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) needed.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for SEND and SEMH learners.
