Job summary

Targeted Provision LTD in the UK is looking for SEND tutors and teachers to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners. You will deliver Maths, English or Science tuition in person, online, or hybrid settings, with flexible hours and a trauma-informed approach.

The role requires 2+ years of teaching experience, familiarity with SEND/SEMH, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS and 2+ references. Competitive pay (£28–£35 per hour), self-employed status, and a supportive team await you.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• QTS/QTLS qualification is required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK; safeguarding knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 by planning and delivering flexible tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to a mission to raise standards of education for young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
