Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners. Roles include in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching of Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND/SEMH needs, across KS1–KS5 as appropriate.

Applicants should have 2+ years teaching experience, QTS or QTLS, and be based in the UK with rights to work. The position is self-employed and offers flexible hours and supportive resources.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) required; Enhanced DBS and two professional references preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tutoring to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular progress feedback
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools with trauma-informed tutoring
• Contribute to raising standards of education for SEND and SEMH learners
