Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to support young people with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles include Maths, English or Science tutoring with flexible, in-person, hybrid or remote options and a trauma-informed approach.

We welcome candidates with 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and references. This self-employed opportunity emphasizes flexibility, purpose, and making a difference for disengaged learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PLMD in a trauma-informed setting.
• Subjects: Maths, English, or Science teaching experience.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references required.
• You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online roles.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular progress feedback.
• Promote high standards of safeguarding and learner wellbeing.
