Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles include Maths, English or Science tutoring with in-person, hybrid, and online delivery and flexible hours to fit your schedule.

Qualified teachers with QTS/QTLS, 2+ years of teaching experience, and Enhanced DBS are preferred. We offer a self-employed structure, CPD access, and a purpose-driven setting focused on student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references.
• Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs.
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for SEND and SEMH learners.
