Job summary

Aspire People in Hinckley are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support learning through play and help children build confidence, communication and independence in a nurturing EYFS environment.

Work is Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a competitive daily rate of £105. The role offers ongoing opportunities across Hinckley and surrounding areas, with dedicated education consultants to support you.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children is essential.
Experience in an Early Years, nursery or primary school setting.
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
Understanding of EYFS would be beneficial.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to encourage and support children's learning and development.
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Support the class teacher with daily activities, routines and classroom organisation.
Encourage learning through play, exploration and practical experiences.
Help children develop their communication, social and independence skills.
Provide individual and small-group support where needed.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional development.
Assist with creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
Support children's wellbeing and development in line with EYFS principles.
