Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a warm, enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Hinckley. You will support learning through play, foster positive relationships and help create a safe, stimulating environment where every child can flourish.

Start date is immediate with ongoing opportunities across Hinckley. The role involves assisting the class teacher, encouraging exploration, developing communication and independence skills, and safeguarding pupils in line with EYFS

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is essential.
• Experience in an Early Years, nursery or primary school setting.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with daily activities, routines and classroom organisation.
• Encourage learning through play, exploration and practical experiences.
• Help children develop their communication, social and independence skills.
• Provide individual and small-group support where needed.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional development.
• Assist with creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
• Support children's wellbeing and development in line with EYFS principles.
