Job summary

Lloyds British, now part of Speedy Group, is seeking an Engineer - Inspection in Erith to join its lifting equipment inspection team. The role is full-time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with salary to be discussed at interview.

You will perform lifting inspections, load and pull testing, and assist with the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories, while supporting ESG initiatives and maintaining high safety standards across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience with working in a testing environment.
• Eye for detail and practical problem solving.
• Good communicator with the ability to analyse and impart knowledge.
• Full training will be provided; engineering environment experience desirable.
• Able to support ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
• Has a full UK drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out lifting inspections and related testing activities.
• Manning the rigging loft and inspecting lifting accessories.
• Assist with load testing and destructive testing as required.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant and efficient service across the UK.

An excellent opportunity has arisen in Lloyds British for a Lifting Inspection Engineerto join our team, thisis a full time position working 39 hours a week, salary to be discussed at interview stage.As well as Lifting Inspection work there is a plethora of other tasks including, but not limited to, load testing, pull testing, occasional destructive testing, manning the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories.

• LEEA
• Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential
• Experience with working in a testing environment
• Have an eye for detail; good problem solving ability and a practical approach
• Good communicator with the ability to analyse and impart knowledge
• Full training will be given but experience of working within an engineering environment would be desirable
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
• Full UK drivers licence
