Job summary

Lloyds British, a Lloyds Group entity now part of Speedy, invites applications for a Lifting Inspection Engineer role based in Erith. The position is full-time, 39 hours per week, with varied lifting inspections, testing tasks and rigging duties. Training paths and career progression are offered within the Speedy group.

We seek a detail-oriented team player with good communication skills and a drive to ensure equipment safety and regulatory compliance. Salary discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• LEEA certification or equivalent is preferred.
• NVQ/City & Guilds in engineering is desirable.
• Experience in a testing/inspection environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist lifting equipment inspection and testing activities.
• Support load testing and pull testing tasks as required.
• Inspect rigging and lifting accessories for safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate findings clearly.

An excellent opportunity has arisen in Lloyds British for a Lifting Inspection Engineerto join our team, thisis a full time position working 39 hours a week, salary to be discussed at interview stage. As well as Lifting Inspection work there is a plethora of other tasks including, but not limited to, load testing, pull testing, occasional destructive testing, manning the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories.

• LEEA
• Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential
• Experience with working in a testing environment
• Have an eye for detail; good problem solving ability and a practical approach
• Good communicator with the ability to analyse and impart knowledge
• Full training will be given but experience of working within an engineering environment would be desirable
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
• Full UK drivers licence
