Job summary

Lloyds British Group Ltd invites applications for a Lifting Inspection Engineer role in Erith. This full-time position requires 39 hours per week, with salary to be discussed at interview.

You will perform lifting equipment inspections, testing, and maintenance to ensure compliance and safety across projects. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications and a proactive, detail-oriented approach, with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• LEEA qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• NVQ/City & Guilds in engineering desirable but not essential.
• Experience working in a testing environment.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lifting equipment inspections and load/pull tests.
• Manning the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories.
• Support engineering and testing programs and ESG initiatives.

An excellent opportunity has arisen in Lloyds British for a Lifting Inspection Engineerto join our team, thisis a full time position working 39 hours a week, salary to be discussed at interview stage.As well as Lifting Inspection work there is a plethora of other tasks including, but not limited to, load testing, pull testing, occasional destructive testing, manning the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories.

• LEEA
• Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential
• Experience with working in a testing environment
• Have an eye for detail; good problem solving ability and a practical approach
• Good communicator with the ability to analyse and impart knowledge
• Full training will be given but experience of working within an engineering environment would be desirable
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
• Full UK drivers licence
