Speedy Hire Plc is seeking a dedicated Inspection Engineer for the South Wales area. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, 39 hours per week, focusing on lifting inspections and related testing, with full training provided. You will inspect lifting gear, perform load and pull testing, and support ESG initiatives.

The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career development within a large UK services group. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• LEEA qualification.
• Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential.
• Experience working in a testing environment.
• Attention to detail, good problem-solving ability and practical approach.
• Strong communication skills with ability to analyse and impart knowledge.
• Experience working within an engineering environment desirable; full training will be provided.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
• Full UK driver’s licence.

Inspection Engineer - South Wales Area - Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 - 39 hours per week

An excellent opportunity has arisen in Lloyds British for a Lifting Inspection Engineer to join our team. This is a full‑time position working 39 hours a week. Salary will be discussed at interview stage. In addition to lifting inspection work there is a plethora of other tasks including load testing, pull testing, occasional destructive testing, manning the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories.
