Job summary

Lloyds British is seeking an Inspection Engineer for Erith/London. This full-time role involves 39 hours weekly, Mon-Fri, with responsibilities including lifting equipment inspections, load testing, and rigging loft operations. Training will be provided and career progression is encouraged.

Applicants should have exposure to testing environments, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• LEEA certification preferred.
• Experience in a testing environment is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Good communication and ability to share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform lifting equipment inspections and tests.
• Conduct load and pull testing, and occasional destructive testing.
• Manning the rigging loft and inspecting lifting accessories.
• Support ESG initiatives within the business unit.

Inspection Engineer - Erith, London - Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 - 39 hours per week

Our highly skilled and qualified Inspection Engineers provide a reliable, responsive and first-class service across the UK, ensuring your lifting equipment is safe to use and your legal obligations are fully met.

An excellent opportunity has arisen in Lloyds British for a Lifting Inspection Engineerto join our team, thisis a full time position working 39 hours a week, salary to be discussed at interview stage.As well as Lifting Inspection work there is a plethora of other tasks including, but not limited to, load testing, pull testing, occasional destructive testing, manning the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories.

• LEEA
• Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential
• Experience with working in a testing environment
• Have an eye for detail; good problem solving ability and a practical approach
• Good communicator with the ability to analyse and impart knowledge
• Full training will be given but experience of working within an engineering environment would be desirable
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver.
• Full UK drivers licence
