Job summary

Speedy Hire is seeking an Inspection Engineer for the Erith, London area. The role is full-time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with salary discussed at interview. You will support lifting equipment safety, perform inspections, load and pull testing, and assist in rigging and accessory checks.

Qualifications

• Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential.
• Experience with working in a testing environment.
• Full training will be given but experience of working within an engineering environment would be desirable.
• Eye for detail; good problem solving ability and a practical approach.
• Good communicator with the ability to analyse and impart knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform lifting inspections, load testing and pull testing.
• Occasional destructive testing and rigging loft duties.
• Inspect lifting accessories and equipment.
• Manning the rigging loft and supporting LEEA-related tasks.
• Contribute to ESG and continuous improvement initiatives.

Inspection Engineer - Erith, London - Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 - 39 hours per week

An excellent opportunity has arisen in Lloyds British for a Lifting Inspection Engineerto join our team, thisis a full time position working 39 hours a week, salary to be discussed at interview stage.As well as Lifting Inspection work there is a plethora of other tasks including, but not limited to, load testing, pull testing, occasional destructive testing, manning the rigging loft and inspection of lifting accessories.
