Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is seeking an Inside Sales Executive – Cross Trades to join our team in London. You will manage quotations and tenders, nurture existing client relationships, and expand the customer base while collaborating with MSC offices worldwide.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills and a commercial mindset in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary, pension, health care, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience within the container shipping or wider logistics industry is desirable.
• Resilient under pressure with the ability to prioritise workloads and deadlines.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build close working relationships with internal teams, MSC overseas offices, and customers.
• Strong IT skills especially in the Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word & PowerBI programmes.
• Team player with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate processing of quotations and tenders, with on-going account monitoring.
• Drive to build relationships and develop volume with current client base while increasing the portfolio of accounts with new customers.
• Use in-house systems such as TMS, Link & the One Vision Platform (OVQ, CRM, OVPricing).
• A proactive attitude to solving business issues, working closely and collaborating with MSC offices around the world.
• Contribute to a positive work climate through a flexible attitude to work, supporting colleagues and living MSC's brand values.

Inside Sales Executive – Cross Trades

We are looking for a confident, motivated, and commercially aware individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have strong communication and relationship-building skills, be highly organised, and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and customers across a global network. A proactive and customer-focused approach is essential, along with a desire to contribute to the continued success of MSC's Cross Trades business.
