Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA seeks an Inside Sales Executive – Cross Trades to join our global team in London. You will manage quotations, build relationships with existing clients, and drive growth across the Cross Trades portfolio.

You will work with in-house systems (TMS, Link, One Vision Platform) and collaborate with MSC offices worldwide to deliver accurate pricing and robust customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail, essential for accuracy in quotes and tenders.
• Experience in container shipping or logistics is highly desirable.
• Able to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Confident communicator with ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Strong IT skills with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PowerBI.
• Team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process quotations and tenders accurately and on time, with ongoing account monitoring.
• Build relationships with existing clients and develop new accounts in Cross Trades.
• Utilise in-house systems (TMS, Link, One Vision Platform) to price and manage pricing.
• Collaborate with MSC offices worldwide to solve business issues and improve service.
• Contribute to MSC brand values with a flexible, supportive attitude.

Inside Sales Executive – Cross Trades

Full time, permanent

We are looking for a confident, motivated, and commercially aware individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have strong communication and relationship-building skills, be highly organised, and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and customers across a global network. A proactive and customer-focused approach is essential, along with a desire to contribute to the continued success of MSC's Cross Trades business.

How you will help us and what you can expect

• Timely and accurate processing of quotations and tenders, with on-going account monitoring.
• Drive to build relationships and develop volume with current client base while increasing the portfolio of accounts with new customers.
• Use in-house systems such as TMS, Link & the One Vision Platform (OVQ, CRM, OVPricing).
• A proactive attitude to solving business issues, working closely and collaborating with MSC offices around the world.
• Contribute to a positive work climate through a flexible attitude to work, supporting colleagues and living MSC's brand values.
