Job summary

Covenco Ltd. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in the UK to support quote preparation, vendor pricing, and proposal writing for existing customers and prospects. The role includes opportunity management and calling to schedule follow-up meetings to drive sales efforts.

The ideal candidate has IT sales or administrative experience, is self-starting, and can work at pace with minimal supervision. Over 18–24 months, progression toward owning opportunities is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT sales or administrative support.
• Ability to understand IT concepts: core principles of solution design, infrastructure, data backup/recovery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes for customers and manage pricing.
• Write proposals and track opportunities through the sales cycle.

Job description

The senior sellers at Covenco have a bandwidth issue. We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative who can assist with quote preparation, vendor pricing, proposal writing and opportunity management – including calling and scheduling follow up calls / meetings to support the sales efforts with existing customers and prospects alike. As part of the progression, it is intended (in time) that the role will progress to owning some of the opportunities and maturing them into a sales pipeline.

Ideal Candidate

Covenco are looking for a dynamic individual with previous IT sales or administrative experience looking to progress into a field sales role over the next 18 months to two years. They must be self starting, self motivated and able to work at pace, without direct supervision at all times. It is essential that they have a good grasp of IT basics with regards to the core principles of solution design, infrastructure, visualisation and data backup/recovery.
