Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking night porters for overnight shifts across our sites. You will greet late arrivals, ensure a warm welcome and maintain a safe and secure environment for guests.

The role covers front-of-house tasks, cleaning, setting up meeting rooms and breakfast areas for the next day, and handling guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism. Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• The role is varied and, depending on your site, may include: cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas, setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day
• You’ll ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.

Job description

This is an overnight position, with shifts typically ranging from 11pm to 7am (depending on the site).

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE:
