Job summary

Inn-On-the-Lak is seeking an overnight front desk host to ensure a welcoming, safe environment for guests. The role includes late check-ins, housekeeping duties around front of house, and helping with breakfast setup where required.

You will be a key point of contact, handling phone inquiries and guest concerns with professionalism. A DBS check will be part of the recruitment process, and the position offers a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• The role is varied and may include cleaning tasks in front of house, external/breakfast areas, and setting up meeting rooms.
• Ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.
• In case of fire, evacuate all guests and team safely and quickly.
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.

Responsibilities

This is an overnight position, with shifts typically ranging from 11pm to 7am (depending on the site).

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• The role is varied and, depending on your site, may include: cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas, setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day
• You’ll ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
