Job summary

Dibbinsdale Inn in Birkenhead is seeking a dedicated Night Porter to welcome guests during overnight shifts and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment. You will handle late check-ins, answer calls, and support front-of-house tasks as needed.

You'll work independently yet contribute to a friendly team, uphold high standards of guest service, and be prepared to assist with safety procedures and emergency evacuations when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• The role is varied and, depending on your site, may include cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas, setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day
• You’ll ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.

This is an overnight position, with shifts typically ranging from 11pm to 7am (depending on the site).

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

What you’ll do in this role:
