At M&B, a dedicated Night Porter is sought to deliver a welcoming, safe and efficient guest experience during overnight hours. You will handle late check-ins, assist with front-of-house tasks, and support safety procedures across the site.

The role requires a passion for guest care, the ability to work independently, and strong communication. DBS checks are part of the recruitment process, with competitive pay and shift flexibility offered.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• Support front of house tasks such as cleaning areas and setting up breakfast for the next day.
• Maintain guest and business safety and security at all times.
• In case of fire, evacuate guests and staff safely and quickly.
• Answer calls and handle guest inquiries and complaints to ensure a pleasant stay.

This is an overnight position, with shifts typically ranging from 11pm to 7am (depending on the site).

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• The role is varied and, depending on your site, may include: cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas, setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day
• You’ll ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
