Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Project Information Officer to manage document control and information management across major infrastructure projects in Scotland. You will act as the central point for project information systems and ensure controlled information exchange throughout the lifecycle.

You will configure and administer CDE platforms, support project teams and supply chain partners, and drive continuous improvement in information quality, workflows and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in document control and project information management.
• Experience administering or using CDE platforms and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate information handling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train users new to systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 or information management in major infrastructure projects advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal contact for project document control and CDE queries.
• Configure and maintain project information platforms from mobilisation.
• Represent information management in project meetings and provide guidance.
• Coordinate receipt, review, issue and distribution of project documentation.
• Onboard users, produce information management reports and support audits.
