Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Project Information Officer to manage document control and project information systems across major infrastructure projects in Scotland. You will oversee the information environment from early development through handover.

Responsibilities include configuring CDE platforms, maintaining metadata and workflows, and supporting teams and contractors with submissions and transmittals. Strong communication and ISO 19650 knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in document control and project information management.
• Experience with information management platforms and controlled information exchange.
• Ability to configure and administer CDE platforms and metadata.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train users across levels.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM or information management in large infrastructure would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal contact for project document control, information management and CDE queries for project teams and partners.
• Configure, administer and maintain project information and document platforms (folders, metadata, workflows, permissions, numbering, access).
• Represent information management at mobilisation, kick-off and contractor meetings with specialist guidance.
• Coordinate receipt, review, issue, distribution and control of project documentation and external deliverables.
• Manage onboarding, training, information management reports, audits and continuous improvement.
