Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Project Information Officer – Information Systems & Document Control based in Scotland, with a requirement to spend 50% of the week in the office in Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness. The role combines document control, Common Data Environment administration and project information management across major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in document control, project information management, CDE administration or a similar information systems role.
• Experience administering or working as an advanced user of platforms such as Viewpoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Forma, Asite, Aconex or similar systems.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate, complete and traceable project information.
• Strong communication skills and confidence supporting and training users with different levels of systems knowledge.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM, Common Data Environments or information management in major infrastructure projects would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the principal point of contact for project document control and information management.
• Configure, administer and maintain project information and document management platforms.
• Represent information management at project mobilisation and contractor meetings.
• Coordinate receipt, review, issue, distribution and control of project documentation and deliverables.
• Manage user onboarding and training, produce information management reports, support reviews and handovers.
