Job summary

Stantec is recruiting an Associate Director – Infrastructure Planning in the UK. The role leads planning and consenting for major projects, delivering strategic advice across the full project lifecycle and driving client relationships.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, mentor staff, and travel nationally to support projects across the UK and Ireland. A MRTPI qualification or equivalent and proven leadership in DCOs are essential.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualification or equivalent with significant experience in major infrastructure planning, consenting or energy projects.
• Proven track record of leading and managing complex planning projects, including DCOs or other major infrastructure consenting regimes.
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning and infrastructure consenting landscape.
• Experience providing strategic planning and consenting advice to clients.

Responsibilities

• Leading the planning and consenting elements of major infrastructure projects, including DCOs and other relevant regimes.
• Providing strategic planning, consenting and EIA advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing complex planning projects to programme, budget and quality.
• Building trusted client relationships and mentoring colleagues.
