Job summary

Emplyfy in Addlestone, United Kingdom, invites an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT services team. The role combines remote support with customer-site work, tackling infrastructure, Windows servers, Azure, cybersecurity, and 365 services to keep client environments secure and efficient.

You will diagnose faults, manage incidents, deploy hardware and software, document work, and liaise with external providers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a relevant IT role.
• Cyber Essentials and GDPR security implementation (mandatory).
• Microsoft 365 core services (including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive).
• Intune and RMM platforms usage.
• Network infrastructure and connectivity (routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 with GPO and security configuration.
• Azure administration and system implementations.
• Windows 10/11 and Mac familiarity.
• Client builds, imaging and deployment.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-service mindset.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a reliable point of contact.
• Attend customer locations to diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Manage incidents and requests through the ticketing system.
• Provide timely updates and ensure service levels are met.
• Escalate critical problems to management when appropriate.
• Review workload daily and take ownership of actions.
• Monitor client infrastructure to stay operational and meet business needs.
• Deploy, test, maintain and troubleshoot hardware/software.
• Document work and maintain service tickets.
• Take ownership of urgent incidents, remotely or on-site.
