Infrastructure Engineer – 6-month contract – Nutanix – Remote

We have a large utilities customer who are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with hands‑on experience using and configuring Nutanix. The successful Infrastructure Engineer will be working remotely with occasional travel to Worthing.

Infrastructure Engineer Key Skills & Experience:

• Must have Nutanix experience.
• Must have strong knowledge of VMware mechanics.
• Proven experience in enterprise Wintel Server administration.
• Experience supporting both BAU and project‑based workloads.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Infrastructure Engineer responsibilities:

• Deploy and Support scalable Nutanix infrastructure solutions
• Manage and optimize VMware virtual environments
• Deliver BAU support across core infrastructure platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and service availability.
• Lead and contribute to infrastructure projects, including upgrades, deployments, and enhancements within a Nutanix.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, providing technical expertise and ensuring smooth delivery of infrastructure solutions.

The Successful Candidate must be willing to commute to Worthing on an ad hoc basis.
