Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited seeks an Engineering / Design Manager to join our MSW&W practice, based in Bristol, Cardiff or Exeter. You will lead design management for infrastructure projects from inception to completion, coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams and client interfaces.

You will author Design Management Plans, contribute to the Project Execution Plan and BIM Execution Plan, and lead technical reviews. Travel across the UK is required; NEC contracts familiarity is desirable.

Qualifications

Chartered Engineer or Architect with experience leading design, build and/or operate commissions on multi-disciplinary projects.
In-depth knowledge of systems integration and multi-disciplinary design processes.
Experience delivering infrastructure projects and managing design information flows.

Responsibilities

Author and maintain the Design Management Plan with inputs from discipline leads.
Contribute to the Project Execution Plan and BIM Execution Plan.
Lead multi-disciplinary design reviews and technical assurance activities.
Coordinate with Project Manager and discipline leads; manage resources and schedules.
Mentor and develop team members; communicate with clients and stakeholders.
Ensure delivery to time, cost and quality; manage risk and change control.
