Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited seeks an Engineering/Design Manager for the NS&NI practice, based from Glasgow. The role combines agile working from NS&NI offices with client site visits, leading design teams on infrastructure projects across nuclear, defence, energy and water sectors.

The successful candidate will author design management plans, drive BIM and technical delivery, mentor staff, and ensure quality and compliance while supporting project delivery and commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or Architect with demonstrable design/build experience.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Familiar with BIM and 3D modelling for design coordination.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain Design Management Plan with discipline leads.
• Contribute to Project Execution Plan and BIM Execution Plan.
• Lead multi-disciplinary design reviews and coordination across teams.
