Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager for our UK Infrastructure team in the Southwest region. You will work with clients in transportation and utilities, helping to manage costs, forecasts and contract performance on major projects.

You will coordinate with client and contractor teams, prepare reports, monitor cash flow, and lead commissions as required, with a focus on governance, value engineering and timely final accounts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, contract management, cost management and governance knowledge.
• Experience with NEC contracts or similar procurement routes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Establish friendly, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Administer a variety of contracts in line with project objectives and policies.
• Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion within budget.
• Proactively monitor cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely applications.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage deliverables, KPIs and value engineering.
• Manage contract change effectively while maintaining governance and best practices.
• Improve forecast accuracy and budget control.
• Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders.
• Negotiate final accounts and lead commissions as required.
