Job summary

Rochdale Borough Council is seeking two Information Systems Development Officers to help modernise Adult Social Care through System C. You will design, configure and improve forms, workflows and processes in collaboration with practitioners, managers and ICT colleagues.

The role involves developing system functionality, mapping business processes and creating management information to support decision making. A hybrid working arrangement is offered in this public sector environment.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring or supporting business applications.
• Understanding of business process mapping and workflow design.
• Experience gathering and documenting user requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver successful outcomes.
• Knowledge of Adult Social Care systems would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Designing and configuring electronic forms, workflows and business processes.
• Developing system functionality to support Adult Care transformation initiatives.
• Mapping and improving business processes through system automation and configuration.
• Working with users to understand requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions.
• Supporting testing, implementation and user acceptance activities.

• Supporting digital innovation and continuous improvement across Adult Social Care.
