A global leader in information security is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to protect digital assets. This role is responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity protocols and collaborating with teams to identify vulnerabilities. Candidates should have a university degree in computer science, a minimum of five years of experience in cybersecurity, and proficiency in security tools such as EDR and SIEM. This position is primarily located in the UK but may involve international collaboration.
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Security Operations Engineer to join our growing Security Operations team as part of Essity’s global Information Security team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity, incident response, and threat detection.
As a Security Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our digital assets by developing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity controls that align with industry standards and best practices. You will work closely with our external SOC and internal cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents. The geographical scope of role responsibilities is global, but the position is in Gothenburg, Sweden with possible alternative locations in Lisbon, Portugal or Munich, Germany or in Dunstable, UK.
