Help us make a difference as an Operations Supervisor based out of our depot in Darlington.

This role is Monday to Friday working 40 hours per week.

A quick look at the role

We're seeking a hands-on IS Operations Supervisor to lead daily operations and promote continuous improvement across our industrial services projects. You will supervise a skilled team working in confined spaces with heavy machinery, manage resources, support project delivery, and liaise with key stakeholders. A strong focus on health, safety, and compliance is essential.

Your core responsibilities

• Allocate personnel and machinery to jobs, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Support the creation of SSOW/RAMS, produce quotes, and arrange waste disposals.
• Supervise daily job delivery, ensuring projects meet time and budget targets.
• Coach and develop operatives/drivers to enhance performance and professionalism.
• Step in for the Depot Manager as needed on daily job/project matters.
• Visit customers to review services, gather feedback, and explore new opportunities.
• Drive team motivation through regular communication, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain training records, ensure equipment compliance, and lead on-site safety audits and meetings.

Requirements

• Experience operating DISAB equipment
• High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) experience
• Confined Space – High Risk certification
• Trained in risk assessments
• Previous experience in industrial cleaning environments
• Strong knowledge of DISAB and HPWJ systems
• Understanding of confined space classifications
