Qualifications

• This role requires previous experience in sales, customer service, internal sales or sales administration.
• Comfort discussing technical products, components or applications with customers.
• Interest in engineering, machinery, automation or industrial components is highly beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with ERP or CRM systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process customer enquiries and support the technical selection of suitable products.
• Prepare accurate quotations, including price, delivery and product information.
• Process sales orders and support weekly OEM delivery schedules.
• Provide strong customer service through telephone, email and general sales support.
• Follow up with customers to discuss enquiries, identify requirements and upsell relevant components or solutions.
• Discuss customer applications and technical issues in a clear and confident manner.
• Order goods from suppliers and coordinate delivery to meet agreed customer deadlines.
• Support occasional outbound sales activity.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive accurate and timely support.
• Organise and prioritise daily workload, working with minimal supervision where required.
