Apex Resource Management is recruiting an Internal Sales Engineer in Warwick to support customer enquiries, quotations and order processing in a technical industrial environment.

You will discuss technical applications with customers, assist product selection and identify opportunities to upsell related components. The role suits someone with sales or customer service experience and an interest in engineering, machinery or automation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service or internal sales.
• Able to handle enquiries, quotations, orders and follow-up calls.
• Comfortable discussing technical products and applications.
• Strong interest in engineering, automation or industrial components.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with ERP or CRM systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process customer enquiries and support technical selection of suitable products.
• Prepare accurate quotations, including price, delivery and product information.
• Process sales orders and support weekly OEM delivery schedules.
• Provide strong customer service through telephone, email and general sales support.
• Follow up with customers to discuss enquiries, identify requirements and upsell relevant components or solutions.
• Discuss customer applications and technical issues in a clear and confident manner.
• Order goods from suppliers and coordinate delivery to meet agreed customer deadlines.
• Support occasional outbound sales activity.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive accurate and timely support.
• Organise and prioritise daily workload, working with minimal supervision where required.
