Job Description:

• Install, maintain, modify and repair electrical distribution systems and associated equipment/lighting systems.
• Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear.
• Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s manuals to complete projects.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools, including termination of power/control/monitoring wiring.

Salary and Benefits:

• £20.21/hour basic salary

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours/week

Qualifications and Skills:

• Work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and customer rapport
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills

Knowledge: Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical systems, working to BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, and familiarity with NICEIC requirements.

Education and Experience:

• CSCS Electricians grade/JIB card
• NVQ Level 3
• Test & inspection 2394/2395 (old 2391)
• Full UK driver’s license
• Experience with fire alarm installation and containment (ladder/tray/basket/galvanized conduit)
• Desirable: Confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, First aid, ContEx, SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications
