Job Description:

Salary and Benefits

Working Schedule:

Monday - Friday (37.5 hours/week)

Major Job Functions

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated equipment/lighting systems.
• Inspect and test electrical components, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear.
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals to complete projects.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools; terminate power/control/monitoring wiring.

Knowledge

Deep understanding and extensive experience in electrical systems.

Accountability

Work on industrial/commercial projects (not domestic). Adhere to BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electrical codes, and NICEIC standards.

Education and Experience

• CSCS Electrician grade/JIB card
• NVQ Level 3
• Test & Inspection 2394/2395 (or 2391)
• Full UK driver’s license
• Fire alarm installation experience
• Containment installation experience (ladder/tray/basket/galvanized conduit)
• Desirable: Confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, First aid, ContEx, SMSTS/SSSTS certifications
