Job Description:

Salary and Benefits

• Salary £20.21p/h basic

Working Schedule:

Monday - Friday (37.5 hours a week)

Major Job Functions

• Install, maintain, modify and repair electrical distribution systems and associated equipment/lighting systems.
• Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear.
• Utilise blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s manuals to complete projects.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools. Terminate power/control/monitoring wiring.

Knowledge

Deep understanding and extensive experience of electrical systems

Accountability

Work on industrial and commercial projects (not domestic), in compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electric code, and NICEIC requirements.

Education and Experience

• CSCS Electricians grade/JIB card
• NVQ Level 3
• Test & inspection 2394/2395 (old 2391)
• Full UK driver’s license
• Fire alarm installation experience
• Containment installation experience (ladder/tray/basket/galvanised conduit)

Desirable qualifications include confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, first aid, CompEx, and SMSTS or SSSTS training.
