A leading supplier of industrial automation equipment is looking for a Business Development Consultant (BDC) to join their team in the North East Region. This work-from-home role requires strong sales experience, particularly in industrial settings, and expertise in automation solutions. The successful candidate will manage partnerships and drive sales, necessitating occasional overnight travel. A vocational qualification in business or engineering is essential.
This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading industrial automation equipment suppliers as a Business Development Consultant (BDC) covering the North East Region. The successful candidate will be required to live in or around Newcastle. This is a work-from-home role, and candidates must demonstrate growth in previous business development or sales roles.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience with supply chain specialists, automation solutions involving pneumatic assemblies and components, and electrical drives. Responsibilities include managing a mix of official partners with a primary focus on driving End User and Regional OEM business. Candidates should possess a vocational qualification in business or engineering, along with an engineering HNC/Degree or higher. Previous external sales experience in industrial sales is required. Experience working for a manufacturer or distributor would be advantageous.
National overnight stays will be required as needed.
