A leading supplier of industrial automation equipment seeks a Business Development Coordinator to cover the North East Region. This work-from-home position requires candidates with a strong background in business development, sales, and essential knowledge of automation solutions. As part of the role, the coordinator will manage official partners and focus on driving business with end users and regional OEMs.
This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading industrial automation equipment suppliers, as a Business Development Coordinator (BDC) covering the North East Region. The successful candidate will be required to live in or around Newcastle. This is a work-from-home role, and candidates must demonstrate growth in previous business development or sales roles. Knowledge and experience of supply chain specialists, automation solutions incorporating pneumatic assemblies and components, and electrical drives are essential.
The role involves managing a mix of official partners with a primary focus on driving End User and Regional OEM business. Applicants should have a vocational qualification in business or engineering, along with an engineering HNC/Degree or higher. Previous external sales experience in industrial sales is required. Experience working for a manufacturer or distributor would be advantageous.
National overnight stays will be required as needed.
