Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is seeking an Account Manager for its Industrial division to support clients across Leicester and Nottingham. You will own existing relationships, understand client needs and coordinate with the recruitment team to place high-quality staff across temporary and permanent roles.

You’ll manage client communications, attend meetings and site visits, and identify opportunities to grow accounts while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing client accounts, serving as a trusted point of contact for recruitment needs.
• Understand clients’ operations, workforce requirements and recruitment challenges.
• Coordinate with the team to source and place high-quality temporary and permanent staff.
• Monitor staffing requirements and service delivery, adapting to changing needs.
• Build strong relationships with candidates to support attendance, retention and placements.
• Identify opportunities to grow accounts and expand across departments or sites.
• Attend client meetings and site visits to review performance and strengthen relationships.
• Maintain accurate client and candidate records and provide regular updates.
