Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking dedicated Support Workers for Templemore Supported Living Service in Northern Ireland. Roles include full-time, part-time, and relief positions. All advertised salaries are based on 39 hours (FTE) and will be pro rata to contracted hours.

You will support individuals to develop independent living skills, work with teams to implement plans, and ensure safe living environments while adhering to policies. An AccessNI check is required and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Desirable: Experience working within the health and social care field.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop or improve independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans.
• Collaborate closely with Team Leaders and managers to prepare and implement individual and group support programmes.
• Promote a safe working and living environment, resolving conflicts using appropriate techniques and language.
• Ensure that medication is stored and administered in accordance with Praxis Care’s Medication Policy where necessary.
• Familiarize yourself with all administrative requirements of the service and record information according to guidelines.
• Be aware of all policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, and participate in related training.
