Job summary

Praxis Care is recruiting a Support Worker for Beechcote Supported Living in Portadown. You will support individuals to develop independent living skills, assist with domestic, social tasks and personal care, and help implement person-centred plans.

You will work with Team Leaders to run group and individual programmes, maintain a safe living environment, and follow Medication Policy when needed. A commitment to equality and training is expected.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full driving license and access to vehicle.
• Experience in health and social care desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop independent living skills per person-centred plans.
• Work with Team Leaders to prepare and implement individual and group support programmes.
• Promote safe living environment; resolve conflicts using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure medications are stored and administered per policy when required.
• Complete administrative requirements and log information per guidelines.
• Adhere to all service policies and participate in related training.
