Job summary

Great Places Housing Group is seeking an Independent Living Coordinator to join our team supporting older customers in independent living schemes. You will promote independence, manage tenancy matters, respond to safety needs, and work with families and support agencies to meet housing and care needs.

The role requires safeguarding experience, administrative skills, and the ability to travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Experience guarding vulnerable adults.
• Administration and recording procedures knowledge with confidentiality.
• Understanding of health & safety legislation.
• Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of housing and tenancy legislation and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide tenancy management including voids, allocations, and new tenancies.
• Perform welfare checks and respond to alarm calls on site.
• Maintain records in line with Data Protection regulations.
• Promote partnership work with agencies and signpost services.
• Support residents to access social activities and community engagement.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are addressed promptly.
