Job summary

Progress Housing Group is seeking an Independent Living Coordinator (Fixed Term) to support tenants in three schemes across Lostock Hall and Farington Moss, helping them live independently with practical guidance and connections to local services.

You will build trusted relationships with residents, coordinate community resources, and work with partners to ensure safe, welcoming schemes aligned with wellbeing and independence goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with a wide range of tenants.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle access.
• Experience supporting older people aged 55+.
• Experience helping customers with physical disabilities and/or mental health needs.
• Awareness of alcohol and/or substance misuse issues.
• First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with tenants, providing practical support, advice and guidance.
• Help tenants access services and community resources to maintain wellbeing and independence.
• Collaborate with tenants, families, support agencies and local partners to deliver high-quality service.
• Respond to enquiries and support tenants through everyday challenges to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Support across three Independent Living schemes, including Lostock Hall and Farington Moss.
