Job summary

A leading education and assessment organization is looking for an Independent End-Point Assessor to evaluate apprentices in England. This role involves conducting assessments, reporting results, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Ideal candidates should have experience at occupational level 5, relevant qualifications, and strong interpersonal skills. Qualifications

  • Current relevant occupational competence within the workplace for at least 3 years.
  • Recent experience of the occupation or sector to at least occupational level 5.
  • Qualified with relevant qualifications at or above the level they are assessing.
  • Willing to travel to employer locations for assessments.
  • Hold a current Standard DBS certificate registered for the update service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-point assessments onsite or remotely.
  • Assess candidates' performance according to published criteria.
  • Report all risks encountered during assessments.
  • Ensure all assessment evidence is high quality and recorded accurately.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment activities.

Skills

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of relevant legislation and codes of practice
In-depth knowledge of apprenticeship standards
Ability to assess free from bias
Ability to assess and report risks
Ability to meet deadlines

Assessing Qualification or Teaching Qualification to Level 5
Relevant qualification at or above Level 5
