Job summary

Qualifications

• Current driving license and access to a vehicle or ability to use public transport.
• Experience working with people with learning disabilities and autism.
• Caring, sensitive and patient while supporting people to be as independent as possible.
• Good ICT skills for digital record keeping.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in an innovative, flexible, responsive and strengths-based manner.
• Act as a Link Worker for the people we support by contributing to the on-going assessment, development, delivery, and review of person-centred support plans.
• Administer medication and support with personal care.
• Deliver the manual handling requirements including use of equipment, physical intervention skills, and active participation in person-centred activities.
• Plan and deliver community outings and activities, including sensory sessions.
